My client is an international designer and manufacturer of electric vehicle chargers. In order to continue their rapid international expansion they are now looking for an enthusiastic and determined Key Account Manager to join their UK team to accelerate their business growth in the UK & Ireland.
Building upon an already flourishing order book with their established UK&I client base, your primary objective will be to maximize the potential business with these clients whilst also providing a first rate customer service. You will also be tasked with identifying new direct OEM accounts and distribution channels and to build strong relationships with these partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and generate sales via direct accounts (charge point operators, commercial fleet operators and automotive and other vehicle manufacturers)
- Seek and select distributors and develop business with them
- Evaluate opportunities and define route to market based on customer profile
- Find and collaborate with installation and service companies to support our sales
- Analyse customer needs, bring innovative proposals and make them into tangible solutions together with customer and internal stakeholders
- Follow-up of the sales opportunities on daily basis via f2f meetings, phone and e-mail
- Report on the sales activities and results timely through CRM system (SalesForce)
- Participation in exhibitions and seminars
Experienced Required
- Self-starting, enthusiastic character who enjoys working in a growing, fast-paced and disruptive environment
- Commercial experience in technical solution sales in B2B market
- Experience in automotive, EV or EV charging industries is ideal
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent organisational, time management, and negotiation skills
